How do i request a prospectus from a university? What do i say?

Is there a sample letter or so where i could get a guide on how to go about asking any university to post me their prospectus? Will i be charged? Do i give my address right away or should i wait for them to send a reply to my email/request first?

1. University prospectuses are FREE, completely free of charge, if you're charged for a prospectus then it most likely is illegitimate. Just go on their website and look for the link that says prospectus, there should be somewhere that says order prospectus, they ask for your personal info, like your address, your current sixth form college or level of education, DOB and basic stuff like that. If you don't find that link, just call up the uni and ask to receive their prospectus, they should ask for your personal info again. Name and address always. You should receive it in the mail in a couple of days.
