Norwood University

How can I reach University of Massachusetts in Boston by train when I'm from Norwood,MA?

  1. Oh, come on! Purple line from Norwood Central (or Islington, if that is closer) to South Station then Red Line to UMass/Columbia, but you already knew that.
  2. Well Norwood is only connected to either buses or the Commuter Rail. Guess bus would probably be cheaper. Then once you get off the commuter rail, there's a UMass stop right on the train.
  3. Get on the commuter rail and take it into South Station. Once in South Station, through the main doors into the terminal and go down the stairs to the Red Line. Take the Red Line OUTBOUND towards Braintree/Ashmont. Take the next train heading to Braintree. Get off the stop for JFK/UMASS. Go down to the main parking lot area and wait for the bus that is marked "UMASS". Jump on that bus (which should be free) and you're off!
  4. take the red line train any one of them, i mean Braintree and Ashmont trains and then u get down on JFK/UMASS station.
